It Begins

After months of brainstorming and questioning whether or not this is something worth doing or yet another short term passion project, the time has come where I say screw it and hit publish anyway.

And so the site is live (obviously) and to kick things off I thought I would do a month long daily upload. Now this is a schedule that is highly unlikely to continue after the month of October however I figured October aka THE Halloween month would be the perfect time to draw in attention. So I have decided that for every month of October I would watch a different spooky film that I have not seen. It is something that has been long overdue especially considering my love for Halloween, I mean it's my favourite holiday, but because I am such a coward when it comes to jump scares and horror I have not watched a lot of the films considered as classic. Therefore every day of October I will watch and upload my thoughts, feelings and review of each film.

As you can see there are a range of different genres of film with the main joining factor being that they are considered 'Halloween' films. This is because as much as I am determined to finally gain some culture by watching the classics I am still a wimp so I needed some less scary ones to balance out the horror so I don't completely loose my mind. It also means that you are able to follow alongside me, I have made a list on letterboxd for those who wish to watch the same films themselves or even if you just want a collection of spooky films to put you in the Halloween spirit.

For those who do not enjoy Halloween or don't care much for reviews do not worry as after the month of October I will be posting the occasional short story or media analysis.
