ABOUT ME
Hello! I'm Tea Blackwood, a 21 year old writer born and raised in the UK. I recently graduated University in July of 2025 after three years of studying film and media. From a young age I would always sit and write stories of my own, loving the freedom of creation and adventure that came with writing your own characters. This love evolved during my teenage years as I took a mild shift into film making but my story teller side never left as I worked to gain experience in screen writing.

During my time at university I also found a love for evaluating media, this really should not have come as a shock to me considering the way I used to engross myself in English class when reading books. So while everyone else was convinced red wallpaper meant red wallpaper I was certain our main character was a murderer. But I was grateful for college and university to help shape that love for analysis in an 'academic' way because it meant I could rant about all my favourite films and shows under the guise of a degree.

Aside from my clear love for all things writing I am also quite the hobbyist. Call it undiagnosed ADHD or an anxiety disorder that is only calmed by constant stimulus, I prefer to call it multiple levels of skill. From jewellery making and crochet to clay modelling and drawing I have had my hand in so many activities I lost count and that list only seem to increase each year. But when it means I get to make bonnets for dogs and custom canvases to decorate my room I'm not arguing.
Where did the name IndecisiveRoyalty came from?
The name (or should I say concept) of IndecisiveRoyalty was created when I was sixteen. As a lot of you know a certain pandemic caused a lot of chaos, grief and mystery that I do not need to divulge about currently. However a few years before the lockdown was initiated my chronically online self was getting into cosplay so when lockdown was brought on it only gave me more time and reason to truly experiment with my cosplays, especially on TikTok. So with what seemed like unlimited time and a growing audience on social media I decided to expand to YouTube. Now at this point I was not famous by any means but I had also grown up watching YouTube stars so naturally I was going to take any chance I got to create my own channel. And I decided to call that channel "IndecisiveRoyalty".

The reason I chose this name was because even during my Cosplay obsessed era I didn't want to limit myself into a specific branding, quite the opposite, I wanted to ensure I could post anything and everything I might have wanted from a range of communities. Hence the "Indecisive". As for the "Royalty" I simply considered myself the leader of indecisiveness and looking back at all the interests I have I must say it still fits quite well. Admittedly I also had quite the ego and found the premise of a royal court branding for the small community I built an interesting link. So yes, I may portray myself as the "ruler" of this side of the internet but I promise I am far from the typical leaders we have today. The last thing we need is another power hungry tyrant. But if you will share a small space of comfort in this world for a blog of fun stories, reviews and media analysis then I vow to ensure this space remains a welcoming environment for everyone that needs it.

While the cosplays of mine may be in retirement I am bringing back old school joy and whimsy. And who knows maybe they will make a come back in the future. But for now I am grateful for you all and look forward to the future we make. Together.
